    The light-duty Consolidation Apparatus is used to carry out compression test of  the soil and to test the relationship between the deformation and the pressure or the pore ratio and the pressure, the deformation and the time of the soil so as to calculate the unit settlement ,compression index ,resilient index compression modulus as well as consolidation coefficient of the soil etc.
